We are more than excited to announce the launch of the Turing Pi 2 cluster board on Kickstarter at 9 AM PT, Wednesday, May 11, 2022.
What’s the price?
The board price starts at $199 for super early birds and $219 as Kickstarter special price. In addition, Raspberry Pi compute module adapters come with a price tag of $10 each.
When to expect delivery?
We already have a production-ready prototype, and we are planning to deliver all boards in September. However, the global components shortage is still a thing.
What’s next for the Turing Pi?
We are aiming to provide a user-friendly solution based on the Kubernetes ecosystem. We are fundraising to achieve the following goals:
- The launch of Turing RK1 compute modules with up to 32 GB of RAM
- The development of a fundamental software platform optimized to work with the cluster mainboard and the compute modules. Read more in our blog.
We are planning to start delivering Turing RK1 compute modules this year. Additionally, we are in the process of sourcing compute modules directly from the Raspberry Pi foundation, which means that we will do our best to deliver Raspberry Pi CM4 to all supporters who need them.
